Hammermills and air swept pulverizers are the two most common machines used to grind the materials to the fine particle size used in aquaculture feeds. But you can used here for mash feed production like Roller Mill

    Hammer mills

Used for grinding feed for pigs and poultry. Hammer mills can grind feed to a fine particle size and are popular in automatic animal feed pellet plants. They work well for fiber-type diets, but not as well for diets high in fat.

    Crumblers

Used for reducing the particle size of finished, extruded, or pelletized feeds.

    Roller mills

Used for reducing the particle size of finished, extruded, or pelletized feeds

    Air swept pulverizers

Used for grinding materials to a fine particle size for aquaculture feeds.

Bello – some good answers only thing I would add/clarify is that not only can a roller mill be used to crumble pellets (as in broiler production) BUT two rollers can be ‘stacked’ one-on-top-of the- other and used to produce very uniform grinds for animal feed using cereal grains; especially true when the corrugations on the lower roller are closer together and there is a speed differential between the rolls in a pair- this type of size reductio will not be successful in a post-mix grind system – it is used entirely in pre-grind mixing systems.
