Make sure your hammermill’s grinding chamber is sealed (no gaps around the door edges). If you are using air-assist try adjusting the amount of air that is entering the grinding chamber. Make sure material is exiting the grinding chamber and is not continuing caught in a vortex (causes decreased capacity and heat generation a fire danger).
