    Yes, if birds are left without light for two days, it can significantly affect their health and productivity. The impact depends on the type and age of the birds:

    1. Broilers & Layers:

    Lack of light will reduce feed intake, leading to slower growth in broilers and decreased egg production in layers.

    Birds may become stressed and disoriented, leading to piling, which can cause suffocation and death.

    If the darkness is total, they may not drink water, leading to dehydration.

    2. Chicks (Day-old to a few weeks old):

    Chicks need light for warmth and to find food and water.

    Prolonged darkness can weaken them, leading to high mortality rates.
