Pre-stocking and post-stocking Biosecurity protocols is essentially important for better productivity.

    Good discussion so far.

    Would like to add that👇🏽

For those who are yet to create a discussion entirely, think of something you are curious about and need an answer to, or share an idea about something you are trying on your farm and has been working for you. Let’s learn together.

Distant brooder house from adult birds
Reduce human traffic as much as you can
Always provide your new chicks with a close to sterile environment to start their life
Prevent unnecessary visits to your chicken house. Let visitors watch for a distance (5KM away if you like😀).
Don’t site your poultry farm close to other poultry farms. You might suffer from their own mistakes.
      etc.

      Biosecurity is a broad topic.😀

Biosecurity is the prevention of disease causing agents entering or leaving any place where they can pose a risk to farm animals, other animals, humans, or the safety and quality of a food product.

      Regular cleaning and
sanitation of the farm: Effective cleaning and disinfection is an
essential component of good hygiene and thus one of the key biosecurity
measures for disease prevention and control. Decontamination of farm
floor, equipments, vehicles, water, etc. is essential for reducing the
      spread of pathogens
