    IBDV can be spread through direct contact, contaminated feed, water, and feces. It can also be spread by fomites, such as equipment and vehicles.

    IBDV is a double-stranded RNA virus that attacks the immune system of young chickens, turkeys, and ducks. It’s highly contagious and can survive in contaminated feed, water, manure, and insects for more than 50 days.
