Fowl pox is a viral disease that affects birds, particularly chickens, turkeys, and other poultry. The disease is characterized by wart-like lesions on the skin, mouth, and respiratory tract of infected birds. When birds are affected with fowl pox, they should be given supportive care, such as ensuring they have access to clean water and food. In severe cases, antiviral medication and antibiotics may be prescribed by a veterinarian to treat secondary bacterial infections.
