The main factors affecting egg production in poultry farms include adequate light (14-16 hours a day), balanced and proper nutrition (especially protein, energy, and calcium), healthy environment (where stress is low), proper genetic selection, and age and health status. If these factors are properly controlled, it is possible to increase egg production.

Sustainable poultry production offers significant environmental, economic, and social benefits, including reducing pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, improving animal welfare and bird health, increasing farm profitability, enhancing food security, and supporting rural livelihoods

We tested water samples from four farms. Here are the results:
Farm 1 → pH 7.0, ORP 400 mV
Farm 2 → pH 6.5, ORP 700 mV
Farm 3 → pH 6.5, ORP 658 mV
Farm 4 → pH 7.2, ORP 160 mV
ORP is measured in millivolts (mV) ORP (Oxidation-Reduction Potential, in mV) shows the disinfection power of water.
· What does pH tell us?
· What does ORP tell us?
· Which farm has the best water quality?
· Which farm is at highest risk of bacterial contamination?
