Dear Dr. Ahmed
It has been more than a month since I asked back you some clarification about your query you posted about Biofloc but have not received any revert about those. Let us make this platform more interactive and useful for everyone through active participation, at least weekly or fortnightly on weekends, if not possible during working days.
Any way I am responding to points now in general and broadly, which can be converted to specific need
1. Stocking density: It depends on species – Tilapia (200 – 300 no per cubic meter), Catfish (150 – 200 no per cubic meter)
2. Aeration set up: Aeration in this culture system has multiple roles – to ensure DO fixation along with cleaning wastage. As targeted to keep DO 5ppm or more at the minimum in biofloc tanks / ponds has to be looked in to. At the same time to develop and maintain water flow ensuring moving nitrogenous & other waste towards center outlet for routine cleaning by draining out. Depending on tank size, material of tank and water volume aeration devices can be selected and installed as individual and / or in combination, these includes aerators, blowers, air dispensers and or nanobubble generating devices with proper / required placement of them to ensure required flow along with routine DO fixation.
3. Daily and weekly floc maintenance: TAN (Total Ammonium Nitrogen) is of main concern and found lethal in biofloc tanks / ponds to be taken care. Accordingly plan is made and executed to add Carbon source for maintaining C:N ratio as well as required floc volume in the system. It is to be calculated based on species being cultured and protein content in feed etc.
There are many technical aspects along with management skills to be taken care during planning and doing Biofloc culture.
More specifically can be answered if required and gets specific queries.

- Calcium Deficiency can cause thin egg shells, 10% of the feed must be supplied as limestone or oyster shell. Also too much phosphorous in the diet will decrease shell thickness.

Kindly note, Dead dog and dead foul as mentioned by Rotimi as supplementary fish feed are not advisable at all to use and to be given. There are other plant origin as well as animal origin supplementary feeds but we need to evaluate well about their usefulness and impact on ecology.

But the mentioning is too brief, it is very important aspect on which initial survival and health of fish fry / fingerling and / or shrimp post-larvae depends so for better understand of everyone let us expand it further on right procedures / methodologies, suitable range of essential parameters etc.
