    Bacterial vaccines are effective in poultry for reducing infections and mortality, though efficacy varies based on vaccine type, the specific pathogen, age of the birds, and management practices. Some vaccines have shown high protection rates, such as 100% mortality protection in one study, while factors like poor handling can reduce effectiveness.

    To scale up a poultry business, you must invest in infrastructure, management systems, and partnerships while focusing on market research and developing a strong brand to justify your premium product. Secure funding by creating a detailed business plan, conducting market research to find potential buyers, and approaching banks, investors, or agricultural development funds for capital.

    A sudden drop in feed intake can be caused by diseases, parasites, heat stress, water availability issues, changes in feed quality or composition, and environmental stressors like overcrowding or vaccination. These factors can individually or collectively reduce an animal’s appetite, interfere with digestion, or make feeding difficult, signaling an underlying problem that requires investigation.

    Ideally it varies from 2.0-2.5 kg at the age of 35 days depending upon feed allowance going to be used.

    Controlling rodents and insects on a farm requires an integrated approach that focuses on the following steps;

    1) Sanitation.

    2) Exclusion, and targeted control measures.

    Oftenly, these referred to as Integrated Pest Management (IPM).

    Use of weather resistant bait stations and their regular monitoring.

    Eliminate shelter and discourage trash.

    Use of poisons or right choice of rodenticides.

    A sudden drop in poultry feed intake (anorexia) is typically caused by;

    Acute environmental stress.

    Disease outbreaks, or rapid changes to the feed itself.

    Since feed intake is the single-most important factor in growth and production, a sudden drop requires immediate investigation.
