The eggshell is white but hard. Are these eggs likely to be posted at the hatchery?

Apart from physiological decline in egg production due to age, molting and broodiness, other reasons include :

NUTRITION : Deficiency of protein, vitamins, minerals; bad quality of feed, improper particle size, improper mixing, mycotoxins, inadequate number of feeders and waterers

MANAGEMENT : Poor ventilation, insufficient light hours (<16 hours), overcrowding, stress (heat/cold)

DISEASES : Bacterial (salmonella, Ecoli, Mycoplasma etc); Viral (EDS, avian influenza, ND, IB, fowl pox etc); Parasitic ( ecto parasites and endo parasites).

Assess the drop in egg production for pattern — change in feed, sudden or gradual drop in production, change in weather conditions , introduction of new flock, other symptoms noticed etc, to diagnose the condition and proceed accordingly

The most important nutrients for egg production are protein, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin D3, and the amino acids lysine and methionine. Deficiencies lead to problems like thin, weak, or no eggshells, reduced egg production, and health issues such as lameness, deformed bones, and poor feather quality.

Among these factors are age, nutrition and water supply, environmental conditions such as light and stress, and processes such as molting.
