The best age to sell Broilers raise for meat depends on farmers production target as discussed below.
Generally Broilers are sold between 5-6weeks old for tender meat protein source for consumer at 2-2.5kg average market weight.
Conversely, Broilers raised based on specifications of buyers for a specific market weight of 5-6kg average market weight OR for festive period like Xmas,Easter and Eld festivals where fibrous or stronger meat are needed are sold between 12-16weeks.
