disease prevention rules in a poultry operation, regardless of size, are:<div>Keep birds isolated from people, animals, and other birds.</div><div>Provide a good sanitation program. …</div><div>Provide the proper balanced diet for your bird’s stage in life and fresh clean water to reduce stress.</div>

Feed us not converted to energy, but rather it contains energy in it and the energy content of the feed supply the energy to the bird for maintenance and production.

Seed mixes provide variety, but they do not always provide optimum nutrition. If you want to feed seeds, offer them only in small quantities as treats. Mix it up – Pellets and seeds should not be the only foods your bird eats. Birds love variety, and enjoy searching to obtain food, just as they would in the wild.

The most convenient way of feeding chickens is with a balanced pelleted ration, whether the birds are confined indoors or allowed to range outdoors. Most diets contain corn for energy, soybean meal for protein, and vitamin and mineral supplements. The most convenient way of feeding chickens is with a balanced pelleted ration, whether the birds are confined indoors or allowed to range outdoors. If you ask poultry producers what damage viruses can do to their business, they will understandably think mostly about major diseases such as avian influenza, Gumboro disease or respiratory infections such as Infectious Bronchitis virus
