The cost of production in Nigeria is very high, this is because the raw materials needed for production of poultry feed as well as energy used in producing these feeds are so exorbitant. Likewise government policies did not favourably support entrepreneur to thrive in Nigeria, enhance the high cost of poultry feed which is not accessible to the common man. If government can provide the enabling environment for poultry farmers in Nigeria, the story will change.
